THE WINE

Large percentages of each variety – 38% Grenache, 37% Shiraz and 25% Mourvedre, have provided a blockbuster wine with wonderful fruit flavours. The Mourvedre spent eleven months in aged oak while both of the other components were un-oaked. Certainly a wine to watch.

VINEYARD MANAGEMENT

Each of our red wine varieties are hand pruned and grown with minimum water to restrict the yields to around 10 tons per hectare.

REVIEWS

90 points - The Wine Advocate, #167

90 pointsJosh Raynolds, USA. Deep red colour. Vibrant red berry aromas complemented by violet, rose and anise.  Crisp and juicy on the palate, the red fruit flavors showing excellent sweetness as well as good focus and energy.  This picks up a note of licorice candy on the pure, juicy finish.
